The Polkadots Team
At Polkadots we are committed to providing parents with outstanding teaching materials and products that they can use to help better educate their children. All the people involved in Polkadots are parents and grandparents themselves and love working with children. We see the education of children as being of paramount importance in building a better world to live in. Polkadots is essentially a family business and utilises all members of the family in some way to develop a product and a company that other families can relate to and use to build a love for learning together.
Carly Tata (nee Reid):
The founder and inspiration behind Polkadots is Carly Tata. Holding a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Carly has been involved in the education of preschoolers for over 12 years as both teacher and supervisor. Most importantly, Carly's enthusiasm, creativity and passion for working with children constantly drive her to developing better ways to teach them. She is responsible for the development of the Polkadots Podules concept and curriculum content. Carly is also one of 'The Polkadots' singing group and a key contributor to the songs and choreography performed by the group.
Pamela Reid:
As the mother of 5 children (including Carly) and 8 grandchildren, Pamela plays a key role in Polkadots. Pamela holds a Masters degree in English, is a qualified teacher and published author of over 15 books, including novels and children's books. Pamela is involved with Carly in developing the curriculum material for the Podules and is the author and illustrator of the 'Polka and Dot' adventure series of storybooks. She also loves designing and making costumes for The Polkadots.

Paul Reid:
Paul is the father and manager of The Polkadots group and the company. He holds a degree in Business Studies and brings years of business management experience to the organisation. He also loves working with his children and grandchildren in building what he considers, 'the greatest and most exciting educational company the world has ever seen'.

The Polkadots:
'The Polkadots' performing group was formed to provide original music and dance material for children. Carly, Dionne, Sarah and Desiree (Dez) are all sisters in one way or another. Sarah, spent many years growing up with sisters, Carly and Dionne, and they were constantly singing together. A few years ago, Dez married into the family and became a natural complement to form the sisterly quartet. The girls are all mums themselves and love to sing and dance with their own children. The Polkadots create all of the music and choreography themselves using their children as a guide as to whether or not they have created a "keeper". Their music and dance is much more than entertainment, it is all educational, and created to complement the rest of the Polkadots learning materials. They see what they are doing is "For the Mums, By the Mums" (and Dads, as well).
